During daytime, the highway through the Canyon will remain fully open and free of interruptions, other than momentary traffic control for turning vehicles

During evening, motorists can expect 30 minute travel delays due to intermittent lane closures from 8 pm - 10 pm (MDT)

Overnight full closures from 10 pm to 7 am (MDT) will occur from Sunday night to Thursday morning.

There will be no closures or stoppages due to construction during the May long holiday weekend, from Friday, May 21 at noon (MDT) until Tuesday, May 25 at noon (MDT) to ensure motorists are not affected by construction over the long holiday weekend.

Daytime:

The extended closure in place will temporarily end on Friday, May 14 at noon (MDT) at which time the highway will be open. The highway will also be open on both Saturday, May 15 and Sunday, May 16 starting at 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (MDT), intermittent daytime lane closures will be in place.

Nighttime:

Overnight full closures are in effect at 10 p.m. to 7 a.m. Saturday night on May 15 and 10 p.m. to 5 a.m. Sunday night on May 16.
